This notice covers browsing the NODOA showcase website and using its features.
It describes the technical data needed to run the website, browser preferences and how requests sent to the privacy contact are handled.
Data controller and contact details
The controller of personal data processed in connection with this website is Greta Francesca Seminatore, based in Italy. For questions about personal data or to exercise your privacy rights: nodoacollection@gmail.com.
Browsing and preferences
The website has no forms for submitting data. Fonts and images are served by the website, and its application code includes no analytics, advertising pixels or embedded social content.
Preferences uses sessionStorage to remember the animation setting. The reading position is also stored temporarily when switching languages. These browser-side features are described in the Cookies page.
Purposes and necessary data
The website’s features display pages, remember the animation setting and preserve the reading position when switching languages. The application code does not send the contents of this browser storage to the server or use them to identify visitors.
Connecting to the hosting service requires technical network data. Blocking these may prevent access to the website. Preferences are optional: if the browser blocks storage, the pages remain available, but your setting or reading position may not be retained.
Technical data needed to deliver the pages and protect the service is processed on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest in operating and securing the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), only as necessary and with respect for visitors’ rights. The configuration examined includes no profiling or automated decisions affecting visitors. Browser storage must be assessed separately according to its purpose.
Providers and transfers
The domain nodoa.it is registered with OVHcloud. Cloudflare provides DNS and hosts the website through Workers.
Workers Observability is disabled and no application databases are planned. Cloudflare may still process IP addresses and other network data. The provider distinguishes processing on behalf of customers from processing as an independent controller: its role depends on the data and service.
Cloudflare operates an international network. Its standard Self-Serve terms incorporate the data processing agreement for the processing to which it applies. The agreement provides transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. This notice does not claim that data is kept exclusively in Italy or the European Union.
Retention
Preferences remain within the browser tab’s session as described in the Cookies page. The website does not create an application database of visitors.
Disabling Workers Observability does not mean that all platform data is deleted immediately. Cloudflare describes retention criteria based on purposes, the nature of the data, risks and applicable obligations, rather than a single period for every service. The provider’s privacy policy is linked above.
Email for privacy requests
If you write to nodoacollection@gmail.com to exercise your privacy rights, your email address and the information needed to handle your request are processed to meet obligations concerning those rights (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). Relevant information is needed to respond; please do not send data that is unnecessary for your request.
The data is retained to handle your request and document the response. Once the request is closed, data that is no longer needed is deleted, keeping only what is justified by applicable obligations or relevant disputes. These messages are not used for marketing.
The address provided uses Gmail, Google’s email service. Messages are handled through that service, which may involve processing and transfers described in Google’s privacy policy. The website does not embed Gmail or load Google services simply when you visit its pages.
External links
Instagram and TikTok links open profiles on external platforms. The website has no embedded social feeds. Browsing those platforms is subject to their own privacy notices, which are separate from this website’s notice.
Your rights and privacy requests
Where the law provides, and subject to its conditions, you may request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, object to processing and exercise the right to data portability where applicable.
For requests concerning personal data processed in connection with this website, you can write to nodoacollection@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. The right to erasure is not absolute and is subject to the limits set out in law.
